EVENT: Coastal Flood Advisory
* LOCATIONS...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...One and a half to two feet above normal.

* TIMING...Minor flooding is expected around the time of high
tide today. Moderate flooding will be possible around the time
of high tide late tonight. High tides at Annapolis will be at
12:24 pm today and 2:01 AM early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level is
possible. At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on
Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is
flooded. Compromise Street is flooded.
A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.

A Coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be
alert for later statements or warnings, and take action to
protect property.
