EVENT: Coastal Flood Warning
The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Coastal Flood Warning, which is in effect until 4 AM EST
Tuesday. The Coastal Flood Watch is no longer in effect.

* LOCATIONS...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...Around two feet above normal.

* TIMING...Around the time of high tide. High tide at Annapolis
is at 9:56 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...Water is expected to come up through storm drains,
approaching businesses on Dock Street in Annapolis. Water is
expected to approach the Maritime Museum and begin to cover
Bowyer Road at the Naval Academy. Shoreline inundation up to one
foot above ground is likely in other low lying areas.
A Coastal Flood Warning means that flooding is occurring or
imminent. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
